For an educational centre The Wind Factory installed an off-grid TWF15 (75 kW) wind turbine on a remote island North of Darwin Australia. As diesel generated power was the only source of energy the wind turbine will now minimize their fuel costs.
The excess of energy is stored in a battery bank, to garuantee autonomy for several days.
